Conversation with grands in the doctor office. There is a world map on the wall and we were waiting for the dr to come in. (Me thinking this will be an educational moment for the boys. I showed some places I have been in the United States and other places). #2 Grandson said did I go on a big ship from the Great Lakes. I told him I didn’t think I could get from the Great Lakes into the ocean. (I was just guessing, but it didn’t seem like I could from the map on the wall) Grand #2 said actually The British came over here (showing their route) and they were able to get through the area by canoeing through some area and they were looking for Beavers and trappings and they discovered the Indians and they became friends. Well I guess it was an educational lesson FOR ME!!!!! LOL
