Sooo, I was starving… I didn’t eat breakfast and it was lunch time. I proceeded to one of my favorite local Hamburger establishments. I decided on my order before I pulled in the drive thru. I could either order a Deluxe Hamburger NO cheese with olives OR small french fries OR a chocolate and strawberry mixed shake. I was going to have to pick which one because I am on a healthy challenge.
I proceeded to the speaker. The cashier asked may I take your order? I said sooo proudly I would like a Deluxe Olive Burger with no cheese. I already looked up the calories and it was over 700 calories. I thought no problem I didn’t eat breakfast so it wouldn’t be too bad. Plus I needed the protein. Then the evil witch cashier asked me “Would I like to make it a combo meal”? Did this……lady know how difficult it was for me to decide which item I wanted to order? Did she not know the struggle I have? I gave her a firm “YES” and I’ll take a shake instead of the soda.
When I got to window #2 of the drive thru window I let her know that she tempted me with that choice. She laughed a little and had enough nerves to ask me if I would like some ketchup. I told her absolutely not because I HAVE TO SAVE SOME CALORIES!!! She said hey we have to cut calories wherever we can and we both started laughing. Hey some days are tougher than others.
You see what happened was… anyway, since you skipped breakfast just divided the calories by two, half for breakfast & half for lunch. Now you got me doing modern math. Love you!!! 😊😊😊
