I usually don’t get upset when my phone rings and its somebody asking for a donation for a cause. Today was not the day for me. The call started out ok the lady was asking for a donation for X Cause. She wanted to know if I could make an donation today. My answer was no I am sorry be aren’t able to help you at this time. She persisted “Maybe you could pledge a smaller amount like twenty dollars”? I said no I’m sorry that’s not going to work either. Then she said well how about we send you out a smaller pledge of fifteen dollars? Now I had enough of this ish!

I said I am sorry but no amount will work. I am donating to my grandkids summer programs, baseball programs, adults kids, diaper fund, household expenses, gas, did I mention how much gas cost and how much driving I do? Get off my damn phone unless you are donating to my causes. Well I did say it in my head but out my mouth came the words “I am so sorry but we just aren’t able to help at this time”. LOL
