24 A man who has friends must himself be friendly,[a]
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

I have been depositing into many friendships. It has never been my intentions to make a withdrawals from my friendship bank account. I wouldn’t say that I have been withdrawing lately but dividends have been coming my way. I received phone calls, cookies, and other things.

I mentioned on FB I wanted some chocolate ….BAM chocolate appeared at my house, two days straight.

One day two of my friends stopped by and cooked for me and it wasn’t planned. The next day I was on FB talking about my cook (Mr) was trying to poison me (he’s a terrible cook) and I got a call from a friend that  told me they was bringing dessert and she wouldn’t take no for an answer (does it look like I will say no to dessert)? It was a homemade pound cake and sweet potato pie.

I mentioned that my nurse/cook (Mr) had to go to work and I was going to be home alone for most of the day. Another friend brought me lunch that day.  It was broasted chicken meal with the potato wedge, cookies and a book to read entitled Be Joyful.  Another friend and her daughter brought me a few meals along with my sister/girlfriend group. (This group consist of 9 ladies from my church and each day a complete meal was delivered).

People don’t have to be nice to you but I hope that I am just as good of friend to them as they are to me.  I’m so glad I made all the deposit of friendship which each one of these people. It made my recovery period so much better. Thank you to all my friends.
